Jamie Bisson

President and Founder

Jamie graduated college with a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management with concentration in Accounting. After college, she worked as a project manager at a Fortune 500 company before founding The Leia Lynn Foundation in memory of her daughter, Leia. She and her husband have been married since 2013. Together, they have four additional children and live happily (and chaotically) in Monument, Colorado.

Jill Reid

Board of Directors

Jill has over 30 years of experience in operations, project, program, and personnel management in both the military and civilian sectors. She has extensive experience in charitable organizations, having served as an officer in Colorado’s largest Parkinson’s support group since 1997. She currently is the group’s acting President, Senior Vice President, Program Director, and Outreach Trainer. In addition, she helped establish the Colorado Parkinson Foundation and has served on its Board of Directors since its inception; she is currently the Board’s Acting Chairman and Vice Chairman. Jill and her husband, John, live in Colorado.

Caryn Parker-Klug

Secretary 

After serving in the United States Airforce for over seven years, Caryn received her Bachelor of Science in Radiology with a minor in Business Administration from Midwestern Texas State University. She has managed multiple Nuclear Medicine departments and was the Manager of Radiology for a large multi-specialty physician network in Colorado Springs for over 22 years. Additionally, Caryn was on the Radiology Board of Directors for Memorial Hospital. Caryn is now retired and spends most of her time watching her grandkids. Caryn lives in Colorado Springs with her Blue Healer, Tank, and enjoys gardening, quilting, and home improvement projects.

Melissa Williams

Board Chairman, Board of Directors

Melissa Williams has over 30 years of operational, project, and change management experience with a passion for coaching and mentoring others. Inspired by her devotion to family, Melissa understands that all children need comfort and love as they go through challenging situations in life and believes that The Leia Lynn Foundation supports that vision.
 
Melissa is a mom to two young adults and lives with her husband and two fur babies in Virginia.

Nick Sundstrom

Board of Directors

Nick earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Nick is a talented development executive that is always finding ways to make business undertakings better, smarter, faster, and more efficient. Nick lives in Escanaba, Michigan with his wife, Lisa.

Michelle Baker-Crail

Board Member

Michelle Baker-Crail has a Bachelor’s degree from Temple University and over 30 years of experience in Finance and Accounting Operations. She has led global teams that have supported Fortune 500 companies and specializes in process optimization and automation. Michelle has volunteered with several non-profit foundations that support children and families in need and is excited to work with The Leia Lynn Foundation. Michelle lives outside of Philadelphia with her husband Kevin, the founder of Crail’s Running Company and Travel Adventures. They have four adult children and recently became first-time grandparents.
